1/1/11 - New Years Day scrapping

At Soul Scrappers, this challenge was set by Jami to scrap 'Who means the world to you' had me having fun with this new photo of Pete at Christmas.  It was a great challenge to start the new year off with.
This next LO was from the challenge of  Shazza's titled 'Scrap your Fear' which really was very thought provoking....mine is regarding time being on my side.....tingles down my backbone thinking of it! I used oddish colours with a B & W photo to achieve that 'uncomfortable' look. That was how I was feeling.

Then Marisa's challenge of  'What I Can Not Do Without' proved interesting too.  Well I really cannot do without the internet now, my life blood so to speak :) but thought a LO of a wireless modem seemed a bit boring, so I choose my glorious garden.  Thought of us leaving this home we built 16 years ago & building or buying again are passing through our heads, & it is my garden is what I would miss.  Oh I would take cuttings, & slips & dig up some to take but all the same, I would miss the 'established' feel of it.

Hope you have a wonderfully happy & scrappy year.

  3. Happy New Year, Deb!

Your LO's are just lovely - off to a great start for the year already :) I can totally relate to how you feel about the garden. We moved a year ago and I brought lots of my bulbs and cuttings with me. Only now have some of them started to look at home in the new garden. Of course our new place is much bigger and the planning our garden it really is a labour of love. xx
