GIVEAWAY - My Memories Suite - Digital Scrapbooking

Something very exciting happened a couple of weeks ago!! In fact it knocked me for six!

A company called My Memories contacted me about doing a review/giveaway combination of their software. After a little research into the company, I felt confident that it would be something that I would enjoy, as well as my friends.

My Memories sells digital scrapbooking software that can help you create digital scrapbooks, photobooks, cards, calendars, and more.

If you're anything like me, you'd love to take the time to scrapbook all of your favorite memories, but whipping out the scrapbook paper and cute embellishments just doesn't happen. Not to mention on all of the cleanup that is necessary after. My Memories makes scrapbooking possible from your laptop...so easy and so handy for a bit of easy fun, & you can do this while travelling - all you need is some photos & voila!!

Here is a couple of pages I have made over the last couple of weeks - whilst I was in 'test' mode.

Here is my first page using photos on a recent Christmas in July jaunt with my dinner outing friends the Ravers.....tried making the page like a pressie!

And with my beautiful daughter Jade at her Laydeez Baby Brunch recently, was lovely using the elements to enhance the photos.

And beautiful Madi xx

My Memories Suite has been super easy to use and the software download includes a lot of great templates ie holidays, birthdays, baby boy/girl, modern, traditional, etc. It also includes background colors, different textures to add, and tons of embellishments. And while there are plenty of great design elements included in the software, you can buy others for really affordable prices. I choose to design my own for my pages...but the templates would be great just to work on a quick page.

My Memories Suite is a fun and creative way to share and preserve your memories and the software is compatible with either a PC or MAC and available world wide. To give you an idea of some of the features and what you can create with the software, there is an instructional video on YouTube for you to view, plus there are many more videos to check out.

There are hundreds of layouts, embellishments, backgrounds, etc plus you can use it to create albums, photobooks, cards, gifts and calendars.

As an extra bonus, My Memories Suite is offering $10 off  the purchase of their digital scrapbooking software if you use the coupon code STMMMS51636.

All you have to do to enter for a chance to

win the software My Memories Suite V3 - valued at $40...

is visit My Memories Suite then leave me a comment telling me which one is your favourite digital pack or layout

I will draw a winner on 15 September.

What a fabulous deal!! So all you tradional scrapbooking friends out there - why not have a look see! I love it actually! In fact I have already purchased about 5 kits & also a few freebies...yay!

Christmas gift tags

It is my turn over at our Christmas Card Club, so my critera was for 4 small cards or 4 tags.

I choose to make the tags, as I always leave tthem far too late to organise & have to use stick on ones!

I really had fun playing with Basic Gray papers, & embellies & some hand made flowers too.

I hope you all over at CCC have enjoyed this little challenge too.

Thanks for taking a peep,

What a lovely page from Dana over at ScrapJacked this month! I loved the colours & page styling, so choose this one as my inspiration...

I used this wonderful photo of Crys & Tashi together with Harry holding ribbons at Tash's school farewell assembly in November 2011.  I love this photo! So I have scrapped it once again, & now I have a page for both my grand daughters.

When in Rome...

Now how is this for an inspiration - some shaded windows from France or Italy...somewhere hispotical I think.  Well this is Julene Matthew's 2nd inpiration challenge from her lovely challenge blog called Archi-Scraps. Julene is offering a lovely prize, so quick sticks & join in by midnight August 15.

Here is my page -

I have used masks & dabber paints, with Kaisercraft paper, alphas & embellies, floral washi tape, Tattered Inspirations lace along with Craft Queen gorgeous tiny rose ribbon & a resin rose with a photo that Jade took during her european vacation in 2006.  The new & the old building together...so my inspirations were the buildings & their windows.

Thank you for looking,

Hugs Debi xxxx

Happy Birthday to Scrapboutique!

july12_12x12_d.jpg

Well I am rather late with my Scrapboutique Cybercrop LO's but here they are.

Sharon's sketch from Pagemaps was a great challenge, & using paint too

So the credit card painting, so stitching, used a lovely flower hand made by Shazza & this divine photo taken with my beautiful Jade at her Baby Brunch.

Next challenge was from lovely Leanne, to make a card & a gift card holder.  I combined mine & used lovely products from Tattered Inspirations to make this fun card. I actually was most fortunate & won a prize for my card.

Then the fun challenge set by the creative Karen during the speed scrap

I needed 4 to 5 papers, & one 4 x 6 photo

Here is my Miss Crys, looking stunning on her 21st!

And lastly, but certainly not least is the fab birthday challenge by Chelsea - using 5 papers & 5 embellies & no 5 in the title...

Ah Jade & her wonderful friends. So easy to scrap with this BG kit.

Thanks for looking..

The Look of Love...

What a delightful challenge it was for July at White with 1.

WHITE + POLKA DOTS + TAPE

Using a recent purchase of some gorgeous scripted washi tape, a fab paper tag freebie from Scrapbooking Memories mag - including dots, great light blue KC paper & a couple of Glimmermist colours, I really enjoyed scrapping this photo of Pete & I celebrating our 33 Wedding Anniversary & renewal of vows. I just love the smaller sized page, & it just suits this photo I believe.

Dotted a white Prima flower with my Copics, & love the cool blues & greens together.

Polka dots add class to a LO & I often use a dot or two...

Thank you for taking a peep,

Hugs xx

Nourishing...

Now isn't this a fabulous inspiration! The gorgeous Helene Bogren has chosen it as our inspiration for ARTastic this month.

Helene says ...C.O. Hultén is an artist from my region in Sweden. He’s 95 years old and has been an artist for more than 70 years! I don’t know if he’s famous abroad but he’s certainly a famous national artist. A funny thing is that he was a friend of my grandpa. My grandpa was the owner of a small printing office and as he was printing lithographs he came to know some of the local artists at that time. They used to come to his house and my mother has told me that Hultén was the one she liked most as he was very kind to her.
So this month you have a choice ...
1. You may use the tutorial and do a mixed media layout along the lines of the one Helene has produced. You can make this as detailed as you like or merely take parts of it what Helene has shown you (using mist, ink, acrylic paint, gesso, modeling paste etc) in any way on the background.
2. You may use the oil on canvas painting by C.O. Hultén to inspire you (think diamond shapes, grey, blue and peach tones or night-time things).
or
3. You can combine them both and see where this takes you.

This is my page

I choose to work on this smaller sized page, I really am loving it & used mixed media components of paint, & masks & stamping to create this 'Nourishing' LO about books & reading.

Please join in, as it is a great challenge blog.

A lovely touch of vintage

I had 3 phenomenal kits from the caroling Carol Mead from Tattered Inspirations - I ask you aren't her kits just the most delightful pieces of specialness!

So here is what I so enjoyed creating.

Here is a wooden frame, that is painted to look rusty & I have fussy cut & added all of the Cafe on Main Street Vintage Kit to enhance its appeal.

Cafe on Main Street Vintage Kit

Mrs Tiggy Winkle Vintage Kit teamed with a misted Twiddleybitz box

I loved this little box & thought it so sweet to add with this delightful kit, & had fun with mists & placement of lovely ephemera.

And then this top kit!! Wow!!

Man about Town Vintage Kit.

My dad is the handsome chappy on the right of this photo, & here he is being a thespian in a local production.  I dont what it was though..:(

I thank you for looking, & do pop over to Carol's Etsy Shop to purchase a kit or two...she has all delightful goodies there..

Hugs as always,
